Join us for a Ride

The next Purlieu Community Ride is a gravel ride in the New Forest on 09 March 2025. We will be meeting 8:45 at the Royal Oak in Fritham (SO43 7JH) a short distance from the end of the M27.  

We are aiming for a 9am start, heading off for 64km of beautiful gravel riding with a coffee stop in Brockenhurst half way and hoping to make it back to The Royal Oak for a Ploughman's lunch (kitchen closes at 3pm). 

We will be aiming to ride the route with an average speed of approximately 18kph and will be waiting for anyone at the top of hills for a drink and breather etc.

Whilst we are hosting the ride, it is an unsupported community ride so please come prepared with spare tubes and drinks etc. All riding is at your own risk.
